Mass start with 4-night-O runners from each team, it was not seen before. The new format made this relay more interesting and exciting. As some Norwegians say, they would like to make this race as high level and popular as Jukola and 10mila. Let's see after some time, because everything of this race depends on the amount of athletes and teams participating in the 8 leg's relay.

I would like to mention that this race was held near Oslo, Sandvika. The map trace the style of me all night time long and made it clear that there something is missing or just lacking focus .. I can blame only myself for my mistakes, but somehow I could not have the right touch with the map and especially in the control area. For example, there is drawn only one hill in the map, but in the forest there are 3 hills of the same size, then I believe there something seemed to be strange. But what can I say, all runners had the same conditions. If you look at the results and their stages, 6min probably are lost somewhere.. I can say that this area was a challenge for everyone! Especially if I had just arrived from World Games in Columbia. Trifle more was the EMIT punching Touch Free system that allowed punch at control non-stop running!
Thank you guys for the wonderful weekend race, especially those who ran 2 times - Jussi, Doug!
Thanks Sundman for everything, all the preparations and pre-race actions were perfectly done as always!!!
